We had already heard about the “Japanese sauna”, but we had never been more interested in infratherapy. An ultra-beneficial radiation technique for the body that is both relaxing, purifying and regenerating. According to studies on the subject, this detoxifying sweat can even have a positive influence on the quality of sleep, chronic headaches, firmness of the skin or even weight loss. In short, we absolutely had to try. But just before talking about the experience itself and what we got out of it, we went to meet Alexandra Gavsevitch. Naturopath, ACMOS bioenergetist and aromatologist, she is also one of the founders of Vital Tech, the reference Made in France of the genre. What is infratherapy for whom and what does it bring?
Infratherapy is not just for one class of people, it’s really for everyone, because it’s just sending energy to the body. Obviously, there may be some variations when you increase the temperature a little more to make the body sweat and detoxify.

Adventurous, we also engulf our head inside by lowering the towel installed on the hull. Little by little, a soft heat spreads and envelops us all. Actually, nothing to do with the sensation that is used in the sauna, it is much less aggressive. Note in passing that we support very well the exercise to which we lend ourselves willingly from time to time.
Positioned on the back for twenty minutes, we feel at first a simple feeling of well-being, but not a drop of perspiration in view … And then 5 minutes later, we’re off, we sweat and not just a little, let us tell you. We sweat so much that we feel the water dripping on both sides of the towel. A few minutes of lulling pass again and we finally hear the little biiip, which comes to ring the end of this first session.
Appraisal: Once out, we follow the instructions of Alexandra and we do not shower (at least for 4/5 hours).
But anyway sweat is not fragrant and clean towels are available to dry. And to be honest, as an unhealthy stressed person, you already feel very relaxed. Our heart beats a little slower, our actions are more settled and we feel really purified. We also look in the mirror: our skin is relaxed, firm and our small wrinkles are a little less visible.

But know that studies on the subject are impressive at many levels.
